The $187 million Spoilbank Marina project is well underway, providing boaters with faster, more efficient access to the seas. The four-lane boat ramp has already been completed, with a selection of boat pens for users. The biggest drawcard is that it creates direct access to the ocean, safe from the busy port shipping lanes. There’s also plenty of space in the new car park for cars and trailers, and a maintenance hardstand for any quick fixes.
The project is on track to be completed towards the end of 2024, and will provide a new public recreation area for visitors and locals alike.
